Performance. i put some Wal mart 2" square fog lights behind the grill of my 08 silverado and they worked great, the mesh didnt seem to get in the way too much so it should work especially if your using bigger highlighters, your grill looks like it has smaller mesh than mine but it could work plus it looks mean at night.
