In this study, tFNAs were combined for the first time with an antimicrobial peptide GL13K, and the effects of the resultant complexes against Escherichia coli (sensitive to GL13K) and Porphyromonas gingivalis (capable of degrading GL13K) were investigated. Control of the carrier density and mean free path in these devices is key for all of these applications. The MOF core can efficiently encapsulate enzymes while maintaining their bioactivity.
For metal halide perovskites, their simple solution-processing preparation, facile band gap tunability, and narrow emission line width provide another attractive route to harness their superior optoelectronic properties for multicolor display applications.
