Believe it not, I just finished watching the episode with the tributory ending, when “Mic” is leaving the bar and all of his friends break into,”Waltzing Matilda”, a more fitting ending, I have never seen. The Harm, Mac and Brumby threesome was difficult to watch though since MicI did not know he had passed and it made me greatly sad to discover. He was a great character actor and one that i think was never given the big break to truly demonstrate his talents. Maybe he pretended to be Austrialian, but was actually a Brit, it’s ok. Two conflicting stories about his death emerged: one stated that he committed suicide due to his ongoing divorce proceedings and custody battle over his two children; while another report claimed that he had a long history of abusing prescription drugs and cocaine. Was watching a Jag re-run and it broke my heart to see such a vibrant person, so talented and full of life to succumb to the deception of drugs. A fine actor who’ll be sorely missed. He would go on to act in other films such as Gone in Sixty Seconds, Men of War (with Dolph Lundgren and future JAG co-star Catherine Bell) and Hollywood Vampyr. He was a shooting star that we watched in awe, cross the sky, his portrayal of Mic in JAG was special and then the star disappeared. Realistically though, I mourn Trevor’s loss of life but really mourn the loss of reality that people don’t get… that some illegal, some legal and otc drugs mixed together can cause devastation to the people who love, adore or want to help those who are doomed to die or become “vegetables” because of this abuse…whether intentional or not.With the advent of dvr, I finally got to see all of Jag rerun.
