We came to the area to enjoy the fall foliage during our drive and never expected October 15 and 16 to be too late for tourists. Prices are reasonable too. I travel a lot and this is one of the best hotel!

It is cheap… and wifi, unexpectedly good amenities and great little personal touches. Belong anywhere with Airbnb. You can rent private island homes, stay in waterfront inns and beds-and-breakfast or opt for full-service hotels – and that says nothing about the thousands of campsites scattered throughout more than a dozen communities.. Check for travel restrictions.
The staff and management were very courteous, & our room with a kitchenette was perfect. It appeared there were several interesting shops and restaurants but most all were closed for the season.
We love Clayton and go there often.
