Morton's 5th Avenue is located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. Servers were old school quality.The Manhattan Steak House is simply the best value and it serves the best quality of steak in the area.
It was lightly breaded and came with marinara sauce. It was worth the drive from Connecticut to experience a “This restaurant is arguably one of my favorites in the city. This visit however was not, we asked for ice water and ordered our food. Being from the NYC area, it was immediately comfortable and welcoming.

The red-heavy wine list had something for everyone, even my Chard loving wife. Next time I’ll get steak!Food was excellent. The food (all of it but especially their Porter house “ (not sure how this is possible), and the lobster Mac and cheese has healthy portions of lobster. Steak wasn’t tender...definitely low grade. When it was brought back it was the exact same steak we got the first time I cut one piece in half to check the temperature, the steak was just put under a broiler for a few minutes which still left half of the steak extremely undercooked.Excellent as always. Enjoy the finest cuts of meat and fresh catches such as grouper, tuna and jumbo Maine lobster. However the food wasn't up to par. The service was great. It’s what brought me here, and didn’t disappoint! We will definitely not go back.Food was hard octopus hard seatk hard to other wise everything was okDelicious!!!
