Several boat captains call the area home and provide charter excursions daily.Looking for things to do besides Fishing? The staff is great, the park is humble and the fishing is one of the best spots in the world. We had a sense things were staying together with bailing wire and duct tape.

My bf wanted to experience shark fishing so Walter also introduced him to a local that he met that evening on the dock right at the resort, their group caught a 4’ bull shark which was super cool. As she realized that she was looking things up incorrectly, she mentioned that she gave our "room" to another guest. Tents are placed right along RV's; The bay is beautiful with lots and lots of bird life. After some finger tapping on our part, she sent us off to our accommodations.

Hire a local guide for a half day fishing trip. We would not recommend this RV campground and Marina. Just over the bridge from Everglades City, and neighbors to the Everglades National Park, Chokoloskee is a fisherman’s dream! All the units have been deeply cleaned, maintenance orders addressed, new mattresses installed, new paint, and all new furniture. Our immediate neighbors: 10,000 Islands National Wildlife Refuge and the Florida Everglades National Park, are two of nature's grandest wonderlands.
